Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma Care Stepdown (PCU) night shift position requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Trauma Care Stepdown unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or relevant stepdown experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) and ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required for PCU RNs
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required (two references required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• 13-week contract
