Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry Stepdown/Progressive Care position requiring at least 2 years of Stepdown experience, Epic proficiency, and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Stepdown/Progressive Care unit setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be required to float within the same discipline across multiple local campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine)

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; active IA RN license also required — if IA license is not active, proof of application for an IA single-state or compact RN license must be provided during the compliance process
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required (pending certifications not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are eligible to apply
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• A maximum of 1 day of time off may be requested during the Thanksgiving holiday window (11/26–11/30) and the winter holiday window (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
