Travel Sales & Business Development Manager

Traventure is seeking a highly experienced, commercially driven, and results-oriented Travel Sales & Business Development Manager to lead business growth, generate sales, develop strategic partnerships, and expand the company's travel portfolio.

This is a senior-level role for a professional with proven experience in travel agency sales, business development, and revenue generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales across visa services, airline ticketing, holiday packages, and corporate travel while developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

In addition to leading sales and business development initiatives, the candidate should possess a strong understanding of travel operations to ensure seamless service delivery and an exceptional customer experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Drive sales across:
  • Global Visa Services
  • Airline Ticketing
  • Domestic & International Holiday Packages
  • Corporate Travel Management
  • Hotel Reservations
  • Travel Insurance
  • Other Travel Services
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
  • Generate new business through corporate clients, B2B travel partners, referrals, and personal networks.
  • Convert walk-in clients, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and online inquiries into confirmed sales.
  • Build, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and key accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and pipeline management.

Business Growth & Client Management

  • Develop business expansion strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare professional travel quotations, proposals, and itineraries.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with corporate clients and travel partners.
  • Build repeat and referral business through exceptional customer service.
  • Represent Traventure professionally in meetings, networking events, and client presentations.

Travel Operations Oversight

  • Oversee the smooth execution of travel bookings and customer services.
  • Coordinate with visa, ticketing, operations, and supplier teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Monitor compliance with airline policies, visa regulations, supplier requirements, and company SOPs.
  • Resolve complex customer cases, escalations, cancellations, and service issues when required.
  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance development.
  • Establish sales KPIs, monitor productivity, and improve team performance.
  • Collaborate with Management to develop business strategies, sales plans, and performance reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a travel agency or travel management company.

  • Airline Ticketing & Fare Construction

  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Strong network of corporate clients, B2B partners, and travel suppliers will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, or other GDS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of international travel procedures, airline policies, and global visa requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Commercial mindset with strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to independently manage key accounts, sales activities, and business development initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel management systems.
