American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with LTC/SNF experience and PDPM knowledge for a 13-week long-term acute care contract in Potosi, MO, with partial Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.

Long-term care (LTC) / skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

Speech-Language Pathology unit with a lighter clinical caseload balanced with DOR-level administrative responsibilities

Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as agreed upon with the DOR

No weekend or on-call requirements

35 guaranteed work hours per week

Active Missouri SLP license required; compact licensure not accepted for this position

Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required

Experience in a leadership role within a SNF or LTC rehab setting required

Working knowledge of PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) required

Functions as an assessing therapist while also taking on select DOR responsibilities, including scheduling and attending morning and facility meetings

Provides leadership and direction to the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA staff

Oversees and ensures compliance with PDPM processes

Develops and enhances rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients

Monitors and analyzes clinical and financial performance metrics

Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration

No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
