Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Ticketing Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling flight reservations, ticket issuance, fare quotations, and travel-related inquiries while ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for our clients. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuances, cancellations, refunds, and exchanges for both domestic and international travel.
  • Provide accurate fare quotations and recommend the most suitable flight options based on clients' travel needs and budgets.
  • Ensure all bookings comply with airline policies, fare rules, and company procedures.
  • Assist clients via phone, email, chat, and in person with booking requests, itinerary changes, and travel-related inquiries.
  • Process payments and issue e-tickets accurately and promptly.
  • Stay updated on airline schedules, promotions, fare changes, and travel regulations.
  • Coordinate with airlines, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve ticketing issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate booking records and ensure all travel documentation is complete.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build long-term client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support the team in achieving operational efficiency and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Ticketing Agent or in a travel agency.
  • Experience using Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or other Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures, fare rules, and reservation systems.
  • Familiarity with international travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel documentation is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple bookings accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
