Traveling Purchasing Agent Driver - Automotive Parts

Job Summary:
Head to Tail Light is seeking a motivated and dedicated Traveling Purchasing Agent Driver based in Plantation, FL, to join our growing team. This position involves regular travel throughout various cities and states to purchase used automotive parts from body shops and collision centers. All travel expenses, including gas and accommodations, will be fully covered by the company.
Responsibilities:

• Regularly travel to assigned regions to source and purchase automotive parts.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with body shops and collision centers.
• Inspect, negotiate, and finalize purchases of used automotive components.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with our warehouse and logistics teams.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and manage inventory documentation.

Requirements:

• Resident of Plantation FL, or surrounding areas.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.

Training:

• Comprehensive on-the-job training provided by experienced buyers.
• Initial training involves several days of accompanied travel, including hotel stays, to familiarize the new buyer with purchasing processes and vendor interactions.
