Position: Aviation Parts Buyer (Contract Role)

Location: Hauppauge, NY (Onsite 100%)

Duration: 6 Months

Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM

Pay Rate: $41/hr (W2, without benefits)

What you’ll do:

• Manage purchasing and order management for aviation parts, including OEM production, MROs, and Tool Crib parts.
• Generate RFQs, place and monitor POs, and expedite orders to ensure smooth production flow.
• Identify and recommend suppliers, conduct site visits, and negotiate pricing, delivery, and quality terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any discrepancies or delays proactively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies.

Who we're looking for:

• Experience buying aviation parts for OEM production (MRO experience is a plus).
• Strong skills in supplier management, negotiation, and inventory control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. CPM certification preferred.
• Familiarity with procurement systems (EDI, MRP) and federal/aerospace regulations.
