Industrial Kin & Dryer Group, Southern Plains is hiring a Purchasing Agent, to be responsible for quoting, purchasing and delivering parts and supplies to meet customer deadlines along with other duties as needed. The most successful candidates will be highly organized & detail oriented. They’ll enjoy working independently and collaboratively and be focused and able to juggle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organizational goals and objectives

· Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery

· Identify and negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible prices and terms

· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality products and services

· Monitor and report on procurement metrics, such as cost savings, quality, and supplier performance

· Inventory management

Skills/Qualifications required:

· Effectively work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once

· Ability to plan, prioritize work, and meet deadlines

· Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Relevant experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management; one to two years of experience preferred

· Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships

· Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes

· Understanding of Engineering drawings and bill of materials (BOMs)

· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

· Experience with ERP systems and procurement processes preferred, but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
