Travelling Maternity Nurse

Overview

A professional and discreet Travelling Maternity Nurse is sought to support a first-time mother expecting her baby in February 2026.

The client is looking for a nurturing, experienced and proactive maternity nurse who can provide hands-on care, particularly with breastfeeding, whilst also empowering and guiding her as she takes the lead in this new chapter. This is a full-time, 24/7 position, live-in, requiring international travel, with the initial base in Dubai in a fully staffed, formal property.

The Maternity Nurse will be required to join the family on frequent global travel between multiple properties throughout the six-month placement. Start date: Monday 12th January 2026.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Travelling Maternity Nurse in Dubai, include:

  • Full newborn care (bathing, feeding, settling, changing, sleep routines)
  • Breastfeeding support – providing empowering support through the first 6 months with a proactive, hand-ons teaching method
  • Preparation of the nursery and baby equipment in the weeks before birth
  • Providing round-the-clock support in the early postpartum period
  • Offering breastfeeding guidance and/or bottle-feeding support
  • Monitoring the baby’s development and routine; offering advice and support to the mother
  • Assisting with postnatal recovery and offering emotional and physical support
  • Establishing gentle sleep routines in line with the family’s parenting style
  • Packing and unpacking nursery items and caring for the baby during travel

Candidates must be/have:

  • Minimum eight years’ experience as a Maternity Nurse in high-profile or private households
  • Relevant qualifications in Maternity Nursing (MNT or equivalent)
  • Certified in Paediatric First Aid
  • Training or certification in:
    • Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support
    • Infant sleep training
    • Postnatal mental and physical recovery
  • Gentle, nurturing, and confident working in formal households
  • Highly discreet, professional, and respectful of client privacy
  • Flexible, calm, and responsive to the evolving needs of a new mother
  • A fluent English speaker
  • A valid passport and be open to global travel

Accommodation

Live-in position with accommodation provided throughout travel.

Hours & Contract

24/7 support role with appropriate breaks and rest periods in line with legal requirements.

Six-month placement.

Location

Dubai + occasional worldwide travel.

Salary

From £400++ per day, DOE.
