Job Title: Travelling Sales Executive – Distributor Development

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Sales Executive to expand our distributor network for Safe Walker Baton products. The primary responsibility will be to identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors across targeted regions, ensuring effective market coverage and brand visibility. This role does not involve direct end-customer sales, but focuses on channel expansion, distributor support, and market development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and shortlist potential distributors/dealers for Safe Walker Baton products in assigned territories.
  • Conduct market research to understand distributor potential, competition presence, and territory opportunities.
  • Approach and present the company’s distributor model, product portfolio, and commercial terms.
  • Negotiate distributor agreements including targets, margins, and marketing support.
  • Onboard and train new distributors on product knowledge, pricing, and sales strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth distributor setup — documentation, logistics, and product supply.
  • Monitor distributor performance, sales volume, and payment collections.
  • Plan and execute regional marketing or promotional activities in coordination with distributors.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback on distributor progress and market trends.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in channel sales, dealer/distributor appointment, or territory development (preferably in FMCG, hardware, or safety products).
  • Proven ability to develop new business channels and build lasting partnerships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
  • Good understanding of B2B sales process and distributor profitability models.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in industrial & defence safety products, hardware distribution, or consumer durable channels will be preferred.

Performance Metrics

  • Number of new distributors appointed per quarter.
  • Achievement of coverage and revenue targets through appointed distributors.
  • Distributor satisfaction and retention rate.
  • Market development and brand visibility growth.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary + performance-based incentives.
  • Travel allowance as per company policy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month
