Treasury Accountant

India

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Monitor daily cash flows across units and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Optimize utilization of surplus funds through short-term investments as per company policy.
  • Manage inter-unit fund transfers and maintain healthy cash balances.

2. Banking & Fund Management

  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for smooth treasury operations.
  • Ensure timely placement and renewal of fixed deposits, loans, and other treasury instruments.
  • Handle negotiations with banks for credit facilities, interest rates, and charges.

3. Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Monitor treasury transactions for risk exposure and recommend mitigating measures.
  • Ensure timely repayment of loans, interest, and other liabilities.

4. Investments & Borrowings

  • Evaluate investment options and provide recommendations for short-term/long-term treasury planning.
  • Manage existing borrowings and explore new avenues for cost-effective financing.
  • Track interest costs and suggest ways to minimize borrowing expenses.

5. Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly treasury MIS including cash position, fund utilization, and bank reconciliation.
  • Support management in decision-making through cash flow forecasts and scenario planning.
  • Provide regular updates on treasury operations, highlighting risks and opportunities.

6. Internal Controls & Coordination

  • Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with accounts, payables, receivables, and business units to ensure smooth fund flow.
  • Support statutory, internal, and tax audits with treasury-related data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
