Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Group Treasury Team by managing trade finance operations, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and Trade receipts in addition to bank access management activities. The role involves close coordination with banks, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and supporting the group s financial operations across the GCC and other international markets.

  • Trade Finance Operations:
    • Prepare and submit applications for Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and Trade receipts.
    • Coordinate with banks for the issuance, amendments, extensions, and cancellations of trade finance instruments.
    • Verify trade finance documents received from banks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Collect and review supporting documentation from business units, such as purchase orders (POs) and customer contracts.
    • Ensure all trade finance activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Bank Coordination:
    • Act as the primary liaison with banks for trade finance-related queries and transactions.
    • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners to optimize service levels and costs.
    • Coordinate with bank to ensure new access to banks accounts are reflected and functioning properly
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on trade finance activities, including status updates on LCs, BGs, and other instruments.
    • Analyze trade finance data to identify trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and implement efficient processes for trade finance and banking operations to enhance accuracy and reduce turnaround times.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
