<Overview>

<Duties>
- Monitor and analyze daily cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and review treasury reports, including cash forecasts, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness using financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Conduct bank account analysis, reconcile general ledger accounts, and oversee wire transfers and electronic fund transfers (EFTs).
- Support regulatory reporting requirements by ensuring compliance with securities law, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other relevant regulations.
- Assist with internal audits related to treasury activities, including SOX controls and financial statement preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize cash flow management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of governmental accounting standards, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and technical accounting practices such as accrual accounting.
- Mentor junior team members on treasury procedures, accounting principles, and best practices for financial management.
<Experience>
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA designation preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in corporate finance or treasury functions within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with financial software such as PeopleSoft, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including securities law and SOX compliance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with non-profit accounting principles (such as LIHTC) or governmental accounting standards is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial reports accurately and write clear financial reports for stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on cash flow analysis, budget forecasting, and financial statement interpretation.

Pay: $66,322.54 - $79,872.30 per year
