Overview:
Talcott is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team. This role plays a critical part in managing cash positioning, disbursements, and liquidity across both domestic and global legal entities. The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, secure, timely, and accurate movement of funds while optimizing treasury processes and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cash positioning across 300+ operating and investment accounts
  • Ensure timely processing of disbursements, including but not limited to policyholder payments, accounts payable, investment transactions, and tax-related transfers
  • Monitor and manage cash in trust and restricted accounts
  • Execute and reconcile transactions across bank portals and internal systems
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank activity and administrative systems
  • Monitor and reconcile disbursements with bank transactions
  • Investigate and manage transaction errors and issues with banking partners
  • Oversee payment workflows, approvals, and fraud monitoring
  • Create and transmit manual and automated wires via bank portals
  • Monitor and resolve payment issues, errors, and rejections
  • Support vendor management for payment systems
  • Ensure compliance with sanctions screening and internal controls
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and service providers
  • Access and manage bank portals for monitoring and reporting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in treasury, banking, or corporate finance
  • Knowledge of insurance industry and investment operations preferred
  • Strong understanding of treasury management systems and banking platforms, FIS Integrity and TRAX preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
  • Prior experience with process automation and treasury technology is a plus
