Purpose:
To manage and direct the treasury operations of the company and ensure that the financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet organization objectives, needs, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
:

Manage the company’s cash flow and borrowings to maintain sufficient funds to conduct company daily activities and meet its financial obligations.

Monitor billing, collection, payments & bank account balances to ensure availability of sufficient funds, to minimize liquidity gap and reduce bank fees.

Ensure payments and distributions are made accurately, on time and with best available FX rates.

Provide timely feedback to the banks on business performance and resolutions to their queries, as per the terms and conditions of the facility agreements.

Establish and maintain an effective relationship between banks and financial institutions.

Evaluate and recommend investment options, funding sources, and financial instruments that will meet the company’s treasury objectives.

Monitor the performance and security of credit, working, and depository accounts held with local and international banking and investment institutions

Ensure effective liquidity to meet all operational needs, both through cash and capital funds.

Ensure the maximum profitability for Shaker Group from all treasury activities within specified risk parameters and local regulation to optimize profit (interest rate risk management of the investment portfolio).

Monitor the timely and accurate processing of all deal transactions, settlements and SWIFT confirmations.

Implement and manage relationships with banks for Shaker Group.

Keep track of Interest rates and foreign exchange rate movements, company's exposures and arrange hedging accordingly.

Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information including information pertaining to financial and confidential.

Maintain proper and adequate records and documentation with respect to all processes pertaining to the department and to ensure the same is in line with company policies and procedures and pertinent regulatory requirements.

Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professionals treasurer to ensure that treasury operations are conducted effectively and ethically and comply with the company’s policies and standards as well as relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or another related field

8 + years of experience in a similar role with at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role

Broad knowledge of budgetary control/ financial management. Knowledge of financial reporting, taxation and regulation
