Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated individual in a very dynamic and evolving bank where you will join the Investments & Treasury (I&T) Department. A Treasury Systems Solutions Manager is expected to blend technical expertise and financial knowledge to ensure that the treasury systems, tools, and processes are optimized, automated, and running smoothly. This role will work closely with both I&T and Information Technology (IT) teams to develop, implement, and maintain the systems that manage cash, liquidity, financial risk, and other treasury operations.


Tasks

Treasury System Management

oOverseeing the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of Treasury Management Systems (TMS).

oManaging integration between the TMS and other enterprise systems, such as Core Banking System.

oEnsuring TMS meets the needs of the business and functions efficiently.

Automation & Optimization

oIdentifying opportunities for automating manual processes (e.g., cash flow forecasting, payments, reconciliation) within the I&T.

oStreamlining I&T operations to improve accuracy, reduce operational costs, and enhance decision-making.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

oProviding support for the resolution of technical issues within I&T systems.

oTroubleshooting software issues and liaising with software vendors or IT teams to resolve technical problems quickly.

oEnsuring data accuracy and system integrity for I&T transactions.

Security & Compliance

oEnsuring that all I&T technology solutions comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and security standards.

oImplementing security measures to protect sensitive financial data.

System Upgrades & Maintenance

oCoordinating with IT team for infrastructure improvements related to I&T systems while ensuring liaising for a smooth upgrade, patches, and updates to ensure systems remain current with the latest features and security standards.

Project Management

oLeading and managing projects for I&T system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

oSupporting IT timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

oActing as a liaison between I&T, IT, and other departments (e.g., finance, accounting, procurement) to ensure that system needs are understood and met.

oCollaborating with vendors for the selection, customization, and implementation of I&T related technologies.

Training & User Support

oTraining I&T staff on new tools and technologies.

oProviding ongoing user support for all treasury systems.

Qualifications

Treasury & Finance Knowledge

oStrong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, financial instruments, and liquidity management.

oFamiliarity with risk management concepts and financial regulations (SOX, Dodd-Frank, etc.).

Technical Proficiency

oExperience with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., FIS, Finastra, Finacle Treasury etc.).

oStrong understanding of system integration, APIs, and data flows between financial software.

oFamiliarity with latest automation tools and technologies.

Project Management

oExperience managing complex projects, particularly related to IT systems or treasury process improvements.

oKnowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Problem-Solving Skills:

oAbility to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.

oAnalytical mindset to understand complex systems and identify areas for improvement.

Communication & Collaboration:

oStrong interpersonal skills to communicate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

oAbility to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users, ensuring smooth communication across departments.

Security & Compliance Knowledge:

oKnowledge of data protection regulations, financial regulations, and security protocols.
