Duties

• Safely ascend trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing techniques to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
• Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely.
• Implement rigging procedures to carefully lower branches or debris, ensuring safety for personnel and property.
• Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to map tree locations and document maintenance activities accurately.
• Conduct routine tree care assessments to identify health issues or hazards that require attention.
• Perform landscaping tasks including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general yard cleanup to support overall site aesthetics.
• Follow industry best practices for tree care, horticulture standards, and safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in tree climbing, pruning, or arboriculture with growing knowledge of horticulture principles.
• Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe removal or pruning of large branches.
• Experience operating bucket trucks and bucket lifts in various outdoor environments.
• Knowledge of GIS mapping tools related to landscape or urban forestry projects is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with landscape maintenance, lawn care, or general landscaping is desirable.
• Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming, disease identification, and growth management.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
