Join our dynamic tree care team as a Tree Crew Member and become a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will assist with various tree maintenance and landscape projects, ensuring safety, health, and aesthetic appeal of trees and surrounding landscapes. Your hands-on work will contribute to healthier environments while gaining valuable experience in horticulture, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance. The Majority of our work is residential in the finger lakes region.

Duties

• Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal using proper rigging techniques to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist Operator of bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches safely for pruning or removal
• Help with planting, growing, and caring for trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth
• Use landscaping tools and equipment to support various site improvement projects
• Follow safety protocols during all operations, including rigging procedures and equipment handling

Requirements

• Prior experience or growing knowledge in tree care, horticulture, or landscaping preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Basic understanding of rigging techniques for lifting and securing heavy limbs or equipment
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail in performing landscape maintenance tasks and adhering to safety standards
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive pickup with two axle trailer with mini-skid steer.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
