Key Responsibilities

  • Lead jury trials as first chair with support from second-chair associates.
  • Conduct depositions of PMQs, senior corporate officials, and expert witnesses.
  • Prepare trial materials: motions, jury instructions, trial briefs, verdict forms, exhibit and witness lists.
  • Develop and execute trial strategy in partnership with leadership and appellate counsel.
  • Prepare witnesses for trial and deliver compelling examinations and arguments in court.
  • Attend firm-led training sessions and implement evolving strategies under consumer protection statutes, including the Song-Beverly Act.
  • Report trial progress, coordinate with team members, and manage case timelines and billable hours.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • California Bar license in good standing
  • Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience , including multiple first-chair jury trials
  • Strong trial acumen and courtroom presence
  • Highly skilled in trial preparation, oral advocacy, and case strategy
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable operating in a paperless environment
  • Spanish bilingual skills a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to travel within California for trials, depositions, and court appearances

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $275,000.00 - $375,000.00 per year
