This role is responsible for installing, modifying, and customizing commercial trucks and vans to meet customer specifications. Responsibilities

• • Install aftermarket equipment such as ladder racks
  • shelving
  • toolboxes
  • lighting
  • hitches
  • and liftgates
  • Perform electrical wiring for accessories and auxiliary systems
  • Modify vehicle interiors and exteriors based on upfit specifications
  • Read and interpret work orders
  • diagrams
  • and installation instructions
  • Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines

Qualifications

• • Proven experience in hydraulic systems
  • welding
  • and metal fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Previous experience in automotive
  • mechanical
  • or upfitting work preferred
  • Basic electrical knowledge and wiring experience is a plus
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • CDL or ability to obtain is a plus (not required)
