Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of freight
• Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes and schedules
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers regarding shipments
• Monitor fleet performance and address any issues promptly
• Analyze logistical data to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatching or transportation management
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (e.g., Oracle Transportation Management)
• Ability to analyze data for decision-making purposes
• Familiarity with GPS and GIS technologies is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $750.00 - $920.00 per week
