Associated Grocers (AG) is a wholesale grocery distribution warehouse located and operating in Birmingham, Alabama since 1928. AG supplies all lines of products to retail grocery stores located within a 300 radius of our warehouse. Stores are located in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee and the Florida panhandle.

Average $0.72 per mile. Earn minimum $57,000 starting pay. Top earners make $91,000 depending on each driver's willingness to work. Annual pay increase per Union contract.
Safety bonus and on-time-delivery bonus of up to $0.01 per mile each
Routes depart from Birmingham and 97% of drivers return home nightly
Routes dispatch from approximately Midnight to 4:00 a.m., seven (7) days per week. Most drivers automatically off on Sundays because we only dispatch 8 Sunday routes.
In the event of required layover, company pays for motel and up to $30 meal allowance
Drivers average 3 stops per route.
All loads are palletized and drivers use pallet jacks located at each store to unload, with assistance from store employees, if needed.
Minimum two (2) years verifiable tractor-trailer experience, clean MVR, and clean criminal background required
Accident-free drivers and their spouse/partner are eligible for annual - all expenses paid Caribbean Cruise Safety Drawing!
