Schedule

2 nights out possibly 3 and local routes

Monday – Friday; no weekends

Typically 40+ hour weeks

Pay

Pay starting at .59/per mile based on driving experience and skills, with the possibility for growth

Job Description

• Safely drive trucks to customers or vendor and meet scheduled customer delivery and/or pickup times
• Unload products from the trailer with the use of a pallet jack, or by hand
• Pick up purchase orders from various vendors
• Confirm delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Conform to all OSHA and DOT regulations as well as company policies
• Immediately report all safety hazards
• Complete daily logs, records, and all necessary paperwork

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 - 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Clean driving record
• Must pass physical and drug tests as required by DOT regulations
• Minimum of one year commercial driving experience
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
