Job Description: Fully understand how to operate company tractor-trailers with gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds in a safe and responsible manner. Operate company tractor-trailers within FMSCA and US DOT guidelines.

• Maintain all required records detailed and accurately with great communication skills.
• Load resins at rail site and unloads at plant.
• Ensure orders are shipped and delivered on time.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
• Make safety a priority always.
• Load and unload trailers, as necessary.
• Ensures contents are properly secured.
• Use of the RF Scanner.
• Use of Electronic Logging Device (ELD) a must to maintain driving and delivery logs.
• Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, wash, etc.)
• Notify manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
• Other duties as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum education required: High School Education or Equivalent
• Minimum experience required: 7 years' experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Description of working conditions/physical surroundings:

• Truck for short and long trips, warehouse.
• Shift work: 12 hour rotating shifts (5 am - 5pm) Start and end in Cornelia, GA

Description of responsibility for work of others:

• Work well with other truck drivers as a team.
• Contacts required inside or outside the Company:
• Plant and Warehouse personal, and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
