Truck Driver, Heavy Trailer, Dump Trailer

Position Overview

Enviro-Tech is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently. This position requires experience hauling various trailer types including gooseneck, 5th wheel, bumper pull, and dump trailers. The ideal candidate will also possess light mechanical knowledge and the ability to assist with equipment maintenance and job site logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks hauling:
• Gooseneck trailers
• 5th wheel trailers
• Bumper pull trailers
• Dump trailers
• Transport construction materials, equipment, and tools to multiple job sites
• Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Operate forklift as needed
• Operate dump trailers safely at designated disposal facilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck and trailers
• Communicate effectively with project managers and site supervisors
• Perform light mechanical tasks (minor repairs, basic maintenance, troubleshooting small equipment)

Qualifications

• Proven experience hauling heavy trailers (gooseneck, 5th wheel, bumper pull)
• Experience operating dump trailers
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
• Clean driving record
• Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable, punctual, and self-starter

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to bend, climb, crouch, and work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
• Ability to safely enter and exit trucks and trailers frequently

Preferred Experience

• Construction industry experience
• Familiarity with securing roofing or building materials
• Experience hauling forklifts, lifts, or construction equipment

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
