Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations following designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety standards.
• Assist with warehouse organization by moving inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally and addressing client needs promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Follow route schedules efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel consumption and driving time.
• Support warehouse operations by assisting with inventory counts, packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Prior delivery driver experience demonstrating safe driving habits and route management skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission preferred.

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
