Trucking Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher, you will be the vital link in our transportation and logistics operations, ensuring that freight moves smoothly and efficiently from point A to point B. Your role will involve coordinating shipments, managing schedules, and utilizing advanced technology to optimize routes and resources. With your keen analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of service and reliability.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for freight, ensuring timely delivery and efficient routing.
• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to optimize routes and monitor fleet movements.
• Manage data entry tasks within Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and vendors via multi-line phone systems to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance overall efficiency in transportation planning.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including freight documentation and fleet management reports.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in dispatching or logistics roles within the supply chain industry.
• Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Bilingual (English/Punjabi) not required.
• Familiarity with fleet management practices and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
