</b></p><p>Designer II is responsible for the accurate design of the roof and floor trusses, walls, and components for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects.
</p><p></p><p><b>Principal Duties and Responsibilities
</b></p><ul><li>Design metal plate-connected wood trusses and Wall Panels utilizing Mitek software
</li><li>Optimize designs for maximum efficiency
</li><li>Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy
</li><li>Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting
</li>Performs other duties as required<br>

<b>Qualifications
</b></p><ul><li>Minimum high school graduate
</li><li>Preferred bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
</li><li>Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilities
</li><li>Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred
</li>Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars<br>
