Trusts and Estates Attorney

Trustpoint.One is partnering with a dynamic and growing midsize Minneapolis-based law firm in their search for a Trusts and Estates Attorney to join their team. The firm prides itself on its client-centric approach.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trusts and Estates Attorney with at least 1 year of experience who is available to work onsite in downtown Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will have trusts and estates/elder law experience and enjoy interacting with clients. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Consult with clients to discuss their goals for their estate, and draft estate planning documents, including wills, living trusts, powers of attorney and healthcare directives.
• Administer estates and trusts, guiding executors, administrators and trustees through estate administration process.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing counsel and updates regarding their estate plans.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Minnesota.
• Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting is a plus, though not required.
• At least 1 year of experience in trusts and estates/elder law.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
