Job Responsibilities

Trident Technical College’s Division of Business Technology & Workforce Training is seeking talented instructors!

Instructors must be available to teach on-site at various Trident Technical College campuses and training locations.

As a leader in workforce development, Trident Technical College is seeking qualified and experienced instructors in the following areas:

IT:

  • CompTIA certification preparation (A+, Network+, Linux+, Security +)
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Virtual Meeting and Business Communication for Teams, Zoom, Webex, Outlook Advanced, (Introduction, Fundamentals, and Meaningful Use)
  • Artificial Intelligence (Introduction, Fundamentals, Practical Applications, and Ethics)
  • Cloud Computing (Introduction, Fundamentals, and Meaningful Use)
  • Electronic Medical Record/ Electronic Healthcare Records (Introduction, Fundamentals, and Meaningful Use)
  • Healthcare Information Systems and Informatics (Introduction, Fundamentals, and Meaningful Use)
  • HL7 with Healthcare Information Systems Data Interchange and Interface Management
  • Google Coursera Suite (AI Fundamentals, Google Analytics, Google Cloud Fundamentals, etc...)

Business:

  • Accounting – Bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and Payroll expertise
  • Insurance Agent – Property and Casualty
  • Insurance Agent – Life and Health
  • Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt
  • Lean Six Sigma – Black Belt
  • Massage Therapy
  • Project Management – CAPM, PMP
  • Property Management
  • PHR or SHRM
  • Soft Skills Trainer (Communication, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Time Management, Goal Setting, etc.)

Minimum and Additional Requirements

These positions require recent related work experience and certification requirements.

  • Knowledge of workforce development and industry-aligned training programs.
  • Ability to apply adult learning principles in a classroom or hands-on training environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to evaluate learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Experience using instructional technology or learning management systems.
  • Ability to foster workforce readiness skills such as teamwork, professionalism, and safety.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain training records and documentation.
