Turnkey Technician

Nelkin Real Estate is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Apartment Turnkey Technician to manage 187 units across our properties in the Clarkston and Decatur, GA areas. We are looking for a self-motivated professional to help ensure our operations run smoothly and our residents enjoy a high-quality living experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vacant units for move-ins, including painting, cleaning, sheetrock repair, and HVAC/carpet maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, property upkeep, and timely repairs.
• Address all service requests accurately and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Physical requirements include bending, squatting, lifting up to 50lbs, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the apartment industry.

Proven experience as a punch/turnkey technician.

Must possess personal maintenance tools and reliable transportation.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Knowledge of minor plumbing, flooring, roofing, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, manual dexterity, and a commitment to excellent customer service. As our properties in this region are located in close proximity, minimal travel between sites is required.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
