The Tutoring Center, located in Boardman (Creekside Plaza - next to Antone’s) specializes in helping students master their academic skills and increase their concentration span. The Tutoring Center is a national after-school tutoring company known for one-to-one instruction and trademarked The Rotational Approach to Learning. We serve children in grades Kindergarten-12th grade in the subject areas of reading, writing, and math. We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing instructors who have a strong passion for helping children. HEAD INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS:

The Head Instructor manages the classrooms and staff, tutors students, oversees classroom procedures, and works with the Center Director on administrative duties. Must be able to manage school marketing, meet and communicate with parents, and enthusiastically help enroll students.

• Job Type: Part-time (20-23 hours per week)
• Available Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm - 8:00pm; Friday 2-3 flexible hours
• Minimum Bachelor's degree
• Excellent customer service skills
• You must have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children
• Must pass Math Assessment
• Educational background strongly preferred
• Looking for a one (1) year commitment
• A successful background check
• Pay rate: $18-$22 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, bonuses are available

INSTRUCTOR / ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Job Type: Part-time (8-12 hours per week)
• Available Monday-Thursday 3:00 - 8:00
• Instructor: A college degree
• Assistant Instructor: Currently enrolled in a college degree program with at least a 3.0 GPA
• You must have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children
• Strong in math, reading, and writing
• Must pass math assessment
• A successful background check
• Pay rate: $12.50-$18. per hour depending on qualification and experience, bonuses are available
