About Us
Best Learning Center in Brea is a highly rated tutoring and enrichment center offering after-school, summer, and academic enrichment programs. We provide small-group instruction in homework help, test prep, STEAM, debate/speech, and core academic subjects in a supportive, student-focused environment.

Position Overview
We are looking for energetic, responsible, and creative tutors who are passionate about helping students succeed. We are currently hiring teachers who can support students in:

• Elementary Math (Grades 3–6)
• Reading Comprehension
• Grammar & Writing
• Middle School / High School Math
• Science instruction is a plus

Ideal candidates are confident teaching upper-level math for older students, including subjects such as:

• Pre-Algebra
• Algebra 1
• Geometry
• Algebra 2
• Higher-level math is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach clearly and effectively
• Dynamic teaching style with creativity, initiative, and classroom presence
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with students
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be available to pick up students using the academy van when needed

Responsibilities

• Teach core lessons using our curriculum
• Lead small group classes of approximately 4–12 students
• Support students with academic progress and problem-solving
• Track and document student performance
• Provide individualized support when needed
• Help create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• 12–18 hours per week

Compensation

• $21–$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
