Job Description:

Preparing the academic calendar. Teaching the nursing students

Assessing and Assisting nurses in preparing for contemporary practices of Nursing.

· Identifying the Training needs for the nurses of the respective team members and implementing changes that should be made in nursing practice using an evidence-based approach.

· Plan the Training activity based on TNI for behavioral, mandatory department specific, hands on training and ensure Nurses participating on the same.

· Provide Nursing Induction Training within 15 days of joining for all New Nurses who have joined the Organization

· Conducts induction programme - Nursing HOPE, In-service education to the nursing staff as well as the certificate programme like ACLS, PALS, and NALS according to the area of work, and to organize the conferences, workshops according to the nurse’s needs.

· To help the nurse to analyze the data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop and implement care.

· Conducting Privileging for all New Nurses in coordination with Nursing Incharges and Nursing Supervisors.

· Ensuring educational activities are congruent with the Vision, mission, goals, values, code of conduct, priorities, and resources.

· Providing an appropriate climate for learning, and facilitate the adult learning process by developing, planning, and presenting educational activities and directly or indirectly fostering the development of competence in the nursing staff.

· Designing, creating and applying knowledge in doing projects, Nursing clinical audits and assisting the senior nurses by supporting them to do the same

· Maintaining clinical competence of nurses in their area of specialty.

· Integrating ethical principles in to all aspects of practice

Providing ongoing evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of the educational activities to ensure that they maintain and enhance professional development that promotes the delivery of cost-effective
