Tutor - In Home

About the Position:

Coach-Mentors is recruiting for an experienced educator/tutor to provide in-home instruction to a 10 year old boy classified as Autistic with PDA challenges. Must be reliably available 2 hrs per day, Monday - Friday anytime between 9 am - 2 pm.

About You:

• You have experience in Autism and PDA-affirming approaches, Elementary academic tutoring, PBIS-aligned behavior support and Executive-function and regulation coaching
• Current or recent NYSED fingerprint clearance preferred.
• Have experience implementing student IEP goals, and can professionally engage teachers and other school based/CSE personnel.
• You must be flexible and highly dependable, with a strong sense (and demonstrated record) of personal integrity and solid work ethic.
• You are relationship oriented, have a unique ability to connect with others and yet have clear, healthy boundaries.
• You can pass a national criminal background check

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
