Tutoring Center Manager / Director
Position Overview
The Tutoring Center Manager/Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and growth of the center. This role combines educational oversight, team leadership, customer experience, and business management. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality academic support while driving enrollment and retention.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Center Management
- Oversee daily center operations to ensure smooth, efficient functioning
- Manage scheduling for students and staff
- Maintain a structured, organized, and professional learning environment
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and educational protocols
- Monitor student attendance, progress, and program effectiveness
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, train, and manage tutors and support staff
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
- Ensure tutors deliver consistent, high-quality instruction
Student & Family Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and students
- Conduct consultations and recommend appropriate academic programs
- Build strong relationships with families to drive retention and referrals
- Address concerns proactively and maintain high satisfaction
Sales & Enrollment Growth
- Lead enrollment efforts through consultations and follow-ups
- Convert inquiries into active enrollments
- Partner with ownership on marketing initiatives and community outreach
- Track and report on key performance metrics (enrollment, retention, revenue)
Academic Oversight
- Ensure programs are implemented with fidelity and aligned with student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
- Maintain high standards for educational quality and outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Education, Business, or related field preferred)
- 2+ years of management, operations, or leadership experience
- Experience in education, tutoring, or child-focused services strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
