Twinkle Star Director (Preschool Program Manager & Parent Liaison)

Turning Pointe School of Dance – Braselton, GA

Do you love working with children and families in a creative, high-energy environment? Turning Pointe School of Dance is looking for a Twinkle Star Director to lead and support our preschool and early childhood dance program (ages 2–6).

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who’s organized, friendly, and passionate about helping families feel connected and cared for while keeping our youngest dancers’ experience magical from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the main point of contact for Twinkle Star families, providing warm, professional communication and ensuring an excellent parent experience.
• Manage the daily flow of the Twinkle Star lobby and classrooms, assisting teachers, greeting families, and keeping everything running smoothly.
• Oversee class rosters, attendance tracking, and program organization to ensure each dancer and parent receives consistent communication and support.
• Collaborate with studio leadership to select costumes and plan, manage, and coordinate all showcase details for both the Christmas Twinkle Star Showcase (November) and the Spring Twinkle Star Showcase (May), as well as all Twinkle Star Camps (summer) and Twinkle Star Special Events/Parties throughout the year.
• Support and mentor Twinkle Star teachers, ensuring consistency in curriculum, communication, and studio standards.
• Step in as a substitute teacher when a Twinkle Star instructor is out.

Schedule & Hours:

• Afternoon and evening desk hours ranging from 3–5 hours each evening, Monday–Thursday
• Every other Saturday morning (4 hours)
• Weekly staff meeting (1–2 hours per week)
• Day/time may vary for Showcase weekends and Special Events

Total weekly hours average 20–25 hours.

• Dance background required
• Dance teaching experience required
• Management experience highly preferred but not required
