Job Summary

Al Marwan Machinery is looking for an experienced Tyreman to join the Heavy Machinery Workshop team. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires for heavy equipment and transport vehicles while ensuring safety, reliability, and minimum equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Tyreman include, but are not limited to:

• Inspect tires and rims for wear, damage, and defects

• Remove, repair, and replace tires on heavy equipment and vehicles

• Conduct tire pressure checks and preventive maintenance

• Maintain service records and tire inventory

• Report unsafe conditions and equipment issues

• Support roadside or on-site tire breakdown assistance when required

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards

• Maintain workshop tools and tire service equipment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Secondary School education preferred

• 2+ years of experience as a Tyreman in heavy machinery, construction or mining industry

• Knowledge of OTR, truck, and industrial tires

• Ability to use tire handling equipment and workshop tools

• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures

• Physically fit and able to handle heavy equipment

• Valid driving license is an advantage

• Technical certification in tire fitting or mechanical field is preferred
