UAE National Procurement Coordinator (Emiratization)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented UAE National Procurement Coordinator to join our client which is a European construction firm . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement department's daily operations, ensuring efficient and compliant purchasing processes. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all procurement activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end procurement & Supply chain process, from requisition to purchase order issuance and delivery tracking.
  • Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or invoices.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, contracts, and procurement records in the company's database or ERP system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant teams to forecast future procurement requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance and contribute to vendor management initiatives.
  • Prepare various procurement reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.
  • Facilitate the resolution of discrepancies related to orders, invoices, and deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Support the procurement team in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
