UAE Technical Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Interface between our customers, regional team Sungrow and HQ Team Sungrow.

Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.

Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches, also remote support as first instance support over call or other medium.

Run a diagnosis on errors or technical problems.

Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers.

Perform all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks as well as upgrades or rework activities.

Support the coordinate with Project Management team during commissioning and site acceptance services.

Follow operational procedures, processes and practices as defined, documented and consistently applied.

Follow the applicable health and Safety instructions and regulations.

Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions and processes for existing and coming service contracts and agreements.

Support MENA Service Management by feeding back frequent and analytical service reports with each job and make suggestions for corrective activities.

Achieve consistent customer satisfaction ratings and respond appropriate to customer feedback on areas for improvement.

Prepare documentations and work instructions as per site procedure and requirement.

Participate in the claim management and RMA process through company application platform.

Documentation for QA, customer feedback and analysis support.

Take over randomly on call duties, partly on weekends and nights.


Degree: Electrical & Electronic Engineer degree (Full time)


Skills & Requirements:

Education as Electrical Engineer Good communication skills in English Experience in claim handling, solution finding and execution. Experience dealing with customers in critical situations. Ability to work independently and structured in an international environment. Strong customer orientation, good discipline, team spirit and self-motivation. Good knowledge of MS Office and comparable software tools. Minimum 2 years of experience in field service and maintenance of power electronic equipment such as UPS, Drives, and Solar Inverters. Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues on-site for power electric systems. Fair knowldge of industry communication tools such as MODBUS, TCP, IEC-104 Willing to work on call duty AND to travel locally and within the region. Dedutation at site for the project execution for long time.


Experience:

4-5 Years of industry Experience with Electrical equipment.


Nice-to-have:

Battery storage Equipment Experence Such as PCS inverter, BMS

PV Solar equipment knowledge such as PV inverters, SCB , Module and performace parameter

Knowledge of Transformer and Switchgear for Meduim level voltage - Scada communication knowledge

Arabic language speaking and understanding
