GRWM Creative Agency is a full-service creative studio specializing in content strategy, UGC production, and paid social advertising for apparel and lifestyle brands. We help brands grow through scroll-stopping content that converts - and we're looking for a talented video editor to join our roster of creatives.

Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled, self-motivated UGC Video Editor to work with us on a project-by-project basis. In this contract role, you'll receive full creative direction and briefing from our team, then take raw footage - b-roll, content creator clips, product shots - and transform it into polished, platform-ready ad concepts that drive results for our brand partners. Feedback and approvals are handled through Frame.io, and project management runs through Asana.

This is a high-volume role: expect 25+ concepts per month across multiple brand campaigns. Compensation is structured as a flat fee per project.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Edit raw UGC clips, b-roll, and creator footage into compelling final ad concepts
  • Produce content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) paid ads
  • Apply on-screen text, captions, transitions, and sound design to enhance storytelling
  • Adapt edits to brand guidelines and campaign briefs provided by our team
  • Deliver 25+ edited videos per month across multiple concurrent brand projects
  • Incorporate revision feedback quickly and professionally
  • Stay current on trending UGC formats, hooks, and editing styles across platforms

What We're Looking For

  • Based in the United States with full fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Proven UGC or short-form video editing experience - ideally for apparel or lifestyle brands
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ad-style edits (TikTok, Reels, Meta)
  • Proficiency in your preferred short-form video editing software (no specific tool required)
  • Comfortable working within project management and review platforms - we use Asana and Frame.io
  • Understanding of paid social content - what makes a hook, what drives a conversion
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Reliable, communicative, and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • High attention to detail - audio sync, color, pacing, and text placement matter to us

Bonus Points If You...

  • Have experience editing for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle DTC brands
  • Understand performance marketing and can edit with CTR in mind
  • Have a knack for spotting trending sounds, formats, and hooks before they peak
  • Are familiar with Meta Ads Manager creative best practices

Contract Details

  • Type: Independent Contractor (1099) - project-based engagement
  • Pay: Flat fee per project (rate discussed during interview based on experience)
  • Volume: 25+ concepts per month
  • Turnaround: 2-3 business days per concept
  • Workflow: Briefs and direction provided by GRWM team via Asana; footage review and approvals via Frame.io
  • Location: Remote - must be US-based
  • Benefits: None - this is a contract position
  • Start Date: ASAP
