UI Design Lead

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead discovery in all key journeys such as SIM and eSIM onboarding, plan management, care, or bundles
  • Map jobs, flows, information architecture, and states for first release and near- term iterations
  • Design high fidelity UI across app and web and validate with quick user sessions
  • Prototype AI powered moments such as a plan advisor, conversational support, and proactive tips with clear disclosure and safe fallbacks
  • Translate lifestyle partnerships into usable bundles including eligibility, pricing display, redemption, and lifecycle
  • Contribute foundations for the design system including tokens, components, and usage notes
  • Ensure accessibility, performance, and localization in English and Arabic

Qualifications

  • Minimum education level: Bachelor’s in design, HCI, Human Factors, or related field
  • Portfolio of shipped consumer products with strong interaction and visual craft
  • Fluency in Figma and rapid prototyping with design tokens and components
  • Clear written and spoken communication and ability to influence without authority
  • Awareness of accessibility, performance, and English and Arabic localization

Experience

  • 5+; years in product design with at least two notable mobile app launches
  • Repeated 0 to 1 and 1 to n cycles from MVP to post launch iterations
  • Work within lean cross functional squads through delivery
  • Built or extended a design system adopted across features
  • Hands on evaluative research or close partnership with research for quick tests
  • Shipped across iOS, Android, and responsive web with platform guideline fluency
  • Localization and accessibility exposure including right to left languages such as Arabic
  • Basic instrumentation and experimentation to learn from usage without heavy process
  • Domain familiarity in telco is a plus

Skills

  • Interaction design, visual design, and motion craft with attention to detail
  • Rapid prototyping, usability testing, and iteration based on evidence
  • Inclusive design practices and strong edge case thinking
  • Cross team alignment, scope shaping, and clear decision logging
  • Strong storytelling with live demos and crisp specs that reduce rework
