UI UX Designer

Tangent Technologies is looking Junior UI/UX Designer, you will work closely with senior designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences. This role is ideal for someone with around 1 year of professional experience who is passionate about user-centered design and eager to grow in a fast-paced product environment.

You will contribute to improving user experiences across our healthcare products while learning industry best practices, design systems, and product thinking from experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows using tools like Figma and Adobe XD
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and design reviews
• Help instill an human-centered and collaborative culture in the company
• Support the maintenance and expansion of design systems and UI consistency
• Revise and improve designs based on feedback from stakeholders and senior designers
• Stay updated with UI/UX trends, design patterns, and emerging tools
• Help solve usability and accessibility challenges through thoughtful design solutions
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute during sprint planning and discussions

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Around 1 year of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or related roles
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or similar design tools
• Understanding of UX principles, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and responsive design
• Familiarity with wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design processes
• Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback positively, and improve continuously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects, academic work, freelance projects, or personal case studies
• Basic understanding of accessibility and usability principles is a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and compliance is a plus
