Senior UI/UX Designer Wanted!
Experience - 5 - 7 Years
Who Are We?
We’re Gray Matrix — 22 years in, and we’re just getting started.
- We don’t believe in just designing interfaces — unless you’re crafting intuitive journeys.
- We don’t believe UX is about usability — unless it’s about creating moments of delight.
- We believe the future of interaction is being built with empathy and artistry, right now.
- And we’re looking for a co-creator of that future.
The Mission (Should You Choose to Accept):
We're pioneering the next generation of digital experiences. This isn’t about making things look good. It’s about making them feel human.
You will:
- Lead and execute the full UX lifecycle — from discovery, user research, journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping to high-fidelity design and usability testing.
- Design elegant, intuitive, and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile platforms that align with business goals and user needs.
- Translate complex requirements into simple, user-centered solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative experiences.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure design consistency across products.
- Conduct usability tests and analyze user feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experiences.
- Ensure seamless handoff to developers by creating clear documentation, assets, and occasional front-end support (basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred).
- Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Who You Are (Really):
- A studio. A laboratory. A stage. A playground.
- You’ve seen how UI/UX design is done and you’re obsessed with how it could be done better.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates elegant interface design and strategic UX thinking.
- Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Deep understanding of human-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
- Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first applications.
- Strong graphic design skills, with an eye for typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present ideas and design rationale clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them.
Bonus If You’ve:
- Experience with motion design and tools like After Effects, Lottie, or similar.
- Designed for complex enterprise applications or AI-driven products.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to better communicate with developers and understand technical constraints.
- Prior experience contributing to or managing design systems at scale.
What You’ll Get:
- A seat at the innovation table, not just the design critique.
- Freedom to shape our digital experiences and design culture, your way.
- Ownership of user journeys and the chance to create products that truly matter.
- The opportunity to build a design legacy, not just a portfolio.
- Compensation that rewards your vision, creativity, and impact.
How to Apply:
Don’t just send a resume.
Tell us your story.
- Describe a UI/UX project where you significantly improved the user experience. What was your process, and what were the results?
- What’s broken in current UI/UX design practices that you want to fix?
- How would you envision revolutionizing digital interactions in the age of AI and immersive technologies?
Let’s build the future of human-centered design, together.
One pixel, one interaction, one delightful experience at a time.
