The Opportunity: UI/UX Design Intern

Are you a recent university graduate with a passion for designing intuitive and beautiful user interfaces? Do you love translating complex problems into simple, user-centric solutions?

Cubix is seeking an enthusiastic and creative UI/UX Design Intern to join our Product and Design team. This is an excellent chance for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and contribute to the design of real-world applications and platforms.

What You Will Do

As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will be involved in:

• Assisting the design team in conducting user research, competitive analysis, and gathering user feedback.
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to define interaction and organization.
• Designing high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and visual assets for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure design feasibility and consistency across implementation.
• Applying and maintaining our design system guidelines to ensure a cohesive look and feel.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and design critiques to elevate the quality of our products.
• Keeping up-to-date with current UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

What We're Looking For (Required Skills)

• Fresh Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles and design thinking methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one modern design and prototyping tool (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
• An eye for aesthetic detail, typography, color, and layout.
• Ability to demonstrate design skills through a portfolio (even if it contains academic or personal projects).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions.
• High level of motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn rapidly.
