The Payroll Executive will be responsible for assisting in the processing of the company's payroll. This includes ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations in the UK, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls .
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Calculate and process statutory payments (e.g., SSP, SMP, SPP).
Compliance and Record Keeping:
Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations and tax laws.
Prepare and submit payroll tax returns and other required reports.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.
Employee Support:
Address payroll-related queries .
Provide guidance on payroll-related issues and processes.
Reporting:
Generate payroll reports for internal and external use.
Assist in preparing payroll-related financial reports and analyses.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement changes.
Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Associate or similar role.
Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations and tax laws.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Relevant payroll qualification (e.g., CIPP) is preferred.
Education:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Location: DHA Phase 2 Islamabad
Timings: 1pm to 9.30pn (Onsite Role)
