Position Summary

The Time and Scheduling Specialist is responsible for configuring and maintaining payroll and timekeeping solutions within the UKG Ready platform to support client workforce management operations. The role ensures accurate time tracking, scheduling configuration, and system functionality while providing technical support and training to clients.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develops and maintains advanced knowledge of UKG Ready payroll and Time and Labor Management (TLM) products and services.
  • Supports assigned payroll and TLM clients by assisting with payroll processing, system troubleshooting, and configuration of UKG Ready scheduling and time tracking features.
  • Evaluates client needs and recommends appropriate system services, reports, or configuration solutions.
  • Provides client training on UKG Ready functionality through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Creates user guides and documentation to support system adoption and client training.
  • Assists the implementation team with TLM setup, advanced scheduler configuration, and time accrual setup to ensure accurate system functionality and timely completion.
  • Supports internal client support teams by assisting with TLM configuration questions and system training.
  • Configures and troubleshoots time clock integrations and related timekeeping devices.
  • Conducts Time and Labor Management (TLM) system demonstrations for existing and prospective clients.
  • Monitors system updates, enhancements, and functionality improvements within UKG Ready and communicates updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintains professional communication with clients while representing the organization’s service standards.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2+ Years configuring scheduling, time tracking, and payroll system settings
  • UKG Ready experience preferred
  • Service bureau experience preferred
  • Experience with U.S. payroll and knowledge of employment laws
  • Spreadsheet proficiency
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Advanced customer relationship skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
