Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring the property through active surveillance, conducting routine inspections, and maintaining a secure environment. Duties

• Monitor the premises using CCTV systems and perform regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct thorough inspections of visitors, staff, and contractors to ensure compliance with safety policies
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid or CPR if necessary
• Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure swift resolution
• Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel
