Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the property
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors and staff
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and deterring theft or vandalism
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, supporting health emergencies with confidence and professionalism
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes

Skills

• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and conflict management techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies effectively
• Background in security, military, or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and response capabilities
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts professionally
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and prevent theft
