Underground Construction Laborer

CONSTRUCTION LABORER

Immediate opening for experienced Underground Construction Laborer. Job location is in Bagdad. Transportation provided to and from job location.

$20-30 Pay depending on experience levels.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Use hand and powers tools, including shovels, rakes, whacker, and concrete/asphalt saws.

Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by OSHA, M.S.H.A. and company policy.

Must be able to listen and follow direction.

Strong attention to detail.

Good critical thinking skills with the ability to observe and assess situations and anticipate issues before they occur.

Employee may be required to work in environments that may include exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise.

Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.

Assist with loading & unloading equipment and materials.

Ability to operate heavy equipment skid steer, mini excavator, compactor a plus.

Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols of the equipment aforementioned a plus.

Experience working a mining/industrial environment a plus.

Requirements

Flexibility to stay late when necessary with little or no notice.

Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.

Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens (including marijuana).

Valid Driver’s License.
